Carolyn Meredith is a UK-born American contemporary artist. Meredith lived in England and Switzerland before moving to San Jose, California, where she currently lives and works.

Through a diverse range of works, including painting, mixed media and photography, Meredith explores the universality of human emotions and experiences. Her works express her connection to the world around her. Inspired by architecture, art, nature and memory, she combines photography and painting, melding art history and personal references into painterly abstractions. Meredith’s influences include Gerhardt Richter, Joan Mitchell, Joan Miro and David Hockney.

Exhibition highlights include group shows at The Salon At The Triton, The Triton Museum of Art, Santa Clara and The Tenth Anniversary Show, El Corazon, La Plata, Argentina. Her work is in private collections in the UK and the USA.
